Want your photos to look lomo and add character to your DSLR photos? Why not use a Holga lens with your DSLR? In this episode of Review’D I try out the Holga lens (~$20) and it’s wide and tele extenders (Another $20). I have to say they really do work! Check out the test photos!

Using a White Balance Cap is actually really simple. Sounds harder than I put it in the video but it’s really quite easy! Please feel free to ask me more questions if you don’t understand!

Review’D: Sanyo Xacti VPC-SH1 (Unboxing and Hands On Review)

This is an episode of Review’D about the Sanyo Xacti VPC-SH1. It’s not the best camera out there, but it is still usable! Hope you find it informative and help you decide on if you would like to purchase it.
The Sanyo Xacti VPC-SH1 is a Full HD video camera. It features a 1/3.6 inch CMOS Sensor. Approximately 4.3megapixels, though the camera allows for 10megapixel capture, I suggest you change the settings to 4megapixels.

It uses SD, SDHC and SDXC cards and has approximately 50mb internal storage.

Video Settings:
Full HD: 1920 x 1080 (60 fields / sec., 16 Mbps); Full SHQ: 1920 x 1080 (30 fps, 12 Mbps); HD-HR: 1280 x 720 (60 fps, 12 Mbps); HD-SHQ: 1280 x 720 (30 fps, 9 Mbps)
☆ (iFrame): 960 x 540 (30 fps, 24 Mbps); TV-SHQ: 640 x 480 (30 fps, 3 Mbps)
Web-SHR: 448 x 336 (300 fps recording, 60 fps playback, 1/5 slow, 8 Mbps); Web-UHR: 192 x 108 (600 fps recording, 60 fps playback, 1/10 slow, 8 Mbps)

Personally, as you can see from the video, I’m not really pleased with the video camera. As my parents are going to Europe I wanted them to have a cheap camera so this is what I got!

This is my quick iPad 2 unboxing and review! Ah!! LOL SO happy. The iPad 2 is just so convenient! The Camera Conector Kit is my favorite add on to the iPad and I got it for less than $30 AUD! Imports and views RAW files without needing to install any apps!

How to use and set up a Softbox [ft. MissPixieLulu]

This is my video on how to use a softbox and unboxing the softbox! So from now on, on DanTayTV we’re going to have awesome lighting. I had the settings wrong in this video so I look quite light, next time I’ll have it better but YAY I’m so excited how much DanTayTV has grown!

The clip features MissPixieLulu/Lucy from the channel http://youtube.com/misspixielulu as we’re really good friends we bought the lighting together. It came in a 2 softbox kit for around $130 without the bulbs. 8 E27 bulbs were bought seperately for a total for $80 ($10 each!). Hope you guys enjoy!
